Firast outing since stupid accident.
Despite miserable weather forecast, Holyhead was dazzling in the sunlight. It was also very windy, but we belatedly achieved the first complete crossing of the new bridge. Unfortunately, I forgot to write down the Celtic/English greeting at the point where the bridge meets the causeway.
This was partly because we were distracted by the comic sight of a bloke who was carrying his bicycle down the stairs from the bridge to the causeway. Well, at least he wasn't riding down the ramp.
For the millionth time we discussed doing the day trip across the Irish Sea - bnut is it PRACTICAL and ECONOMIC? Would there be time and space to do anything worth doing on the other side before we had to come back again, especially as we'd presumably have to pay for a whole night in the b and b, even if we went to the one where you can register at 4 a.m..?
Hmm.
