Great Orme, Alice Liddell, St Tudno

The anonymous insect seems to have stopped biting. No new itches since yesterday, but the old ones are drivbing me frantic

Lamb hearts are in the slow cooker, so there is a delicious smell

It hasn't stopped blowing and/or drizzling for three days. On the other hand, people seem to have enjoyed Faenol, which I feared  would be ruined.

The Liddell holiday house in my icon - people are planning to knoock it down - that's so sad.

I am reading The Time Traveller's Wife and don't know what to make of it.
There's a sort of dreariness about it, and I keep hoping that it will get interesting.
Why does he lose his clothes when he travels?

Why does the sun come out as soon as I arrive home and start doing boring things?

Why does the cat always want to be in the room where I don't want her to be?

Where did the removal men pack Ooxc's TV remote?

How will I avoid 2012, since leaving the country is unlikely to be possible?

My weather pixie (based on Valley on Anglesey) is almost certainly lying. It says that the sun is shining, but I can see that there is a thick mist of rain in that direction. I doubt very much whether the sun is shining anywhere on Anglesey

The next neighbours to the west are having a horrible time - I hope that Irish LJers are safe and dry, even if their houses aren't.

I didn't know what some of them were, let alone if I'd eaten them!

i have nothing against the Chalet School - no ,really, i haven't! It's my problem that I've never got into same.
But why is it suddenly popping up all over LJs where it's never been mentioned before?

I didn't mind that i knew the plot line - in fact, I was glad to know enough to put the wheelie  bin out for tomorrow's collection before I watched the programme.

Bang on the head does seem to have done some damage.

Not only did I forget that Tom Baker was in Miss Marple and fail to recognize him, , but, when I remembered afterwards, I couldn't thikn which part he could be playing.

Firast outing since stupid accident.

Despite miserable weather forecast, Holyhead was dazzling  in the sunlight.  It was also very windy, but  we belatedly achieved the first complete crossing of the new bridge. Unfortunately, I forgot to write down the Celtic/English greeting at the point where the bridge meets the causeway.
This was partly because we were distracted by the comic sight of  a bloke who was carrying his bicycle down the stairs from the bridge  to the causeway. Well, at least he wasn't riding down the ramp.
For the millionth time we discussed doing the day trip across the Irish Sea - bnut is it  PRACTICAL and ECONOMIC? Would there be time and space to do anything worth doing on the other side before we had to come back again, especially as we'd presumably have to pay for a whole night in the b and b, even if we went to the one where you can register at  4 a.m..?
Hmm.
